Salvation
What is salvation?  How can you know that you are really "saved?"

Do you realize that God loves you as you are, not only as you should be?  That is right, God wants to have a personal relationship with you so much, that He sent His son to die for you!  WHY?  The reason God sent His Son to earth to live, suffer and die for you, was to pay the penalty for the sin in your life that separates you from His love.

*John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He sent His only begotten Son, that whoever believes on Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life.
*Romans 5:8 “when we were in our sin, Christ Jesus came to die for us”
*Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”
*Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the FREE gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
*Romans 10:9-10 “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved”

Do you want to receive the Christ right now as your personal Savior?  Do you want to know for a fact that one day you will spend eternity with Him in heaven?  Then pray this prayer!

Dear Jesus,
I confess I am a sinner and I realize I need a Savior.  I believe by faith that You came to earth to die on the cross for my sin.  I believe You rose from the grave to live as my Lord.  I turn from my sin and ask you, Lord Jesus, to forgive me and come into my heart.  I trust you as Savior today.  Thank you Jesus for saving me!

If you prayed this prayer today, please call us at 425-556-5905, so we can share in your blessing.

Welcome
Welcome to Antioch Bible Church

Join us in an adventure into a new way of doing church!
Pastor Ken Hutcherson Welcome Message: Click to listen!

We invite you to join us for Sunday worship service, 9 and 11 at the Seventh Day Adventist School in Kirkland.

If you are looking for a church that is comfortable, quiet, politically correct, and strives to be "cool" - Antioch is NOT for you!

If you are looking for a church that strives to look like the Bride of Christ, with every culture, race, and economic background worshipping as ONE, and if you believe biblical values should be infused into our culture and politics, then WELCOME HOME!

Antioch is a church that doesn't separate our ministry to broken, uncool people from our church services where we dress up and hide what is really going on inside.  Jesus wants us to come to Him as we are in all our brokenness, and be healed by the truth and power of the Word of God.

Please come and visit us, and see if Antioch is for you.  Don't bother to dress up, because you may have to walk a distance after you fight for a parking spot. But DO bring your Bible, because we are a church that preaches the Word of God, book by book, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse.  Sometimes the truth hurts, but it is always necessary for "teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness."  II Timothy 3:16

History
When Ken Hutcherson first became a Christian in his senior year of high school, it was quite a turnaround not only in his life but the lives of those who knew him.  Blacks and whites didn’t get along and Hutch being black and talking about how all people should get along, made the conflicts even more pronounced. When he realized Christ not only died for him but He died for every white person too, it made him question his own prejudices.

That year, he started studying the Bible, determined to start a group that best reflects what God’s priorities and values are. After studying the Bible for five or six hours day, Hutch realized many churches are not based on what Scripture dictates. Many are based on color and many are based on tradition and culture. The Bible doesn’t separate people by color or culture and in Scripture, traditions and denominations don’t matter.

After playing pro ball and ending up in Seattle, Hutch started working with Westminster Chapel in Bellevue under Pastor Wilbur Antisdale, giving him a great opportunity to learn. So when it came time to leave Westminster, Mark Webster, Dwight Englund and Hutch talked about starting a church that reflected what the biblical church should look like – a church for all people.

Antioch started with 15 people in a Bible study and grew to over 80 people in the first year.  At that time, they realized God wanted them to start a church, so in October, 1984, Antioch was founded and has since become a national leader in cross-cultural ministry. Antioch's innovative outreach programs are communicating God's message of hope and grace to people in the Pacific Northwest and around the globe.

"Black and White in a Grey World" best describes both Antioch's multi-ethnic perspective and its commitment to biblical truth.

Through "no fee" adoptions, world-wide missions and medical relief, our holistic approach to drug and alcohol recovery, prison outreach and our educational opportunities through Imago Dei Institute, Antioch is impacting and infusing the culture with time-honored values and standards.

25th Anniversary
CakeOn October 11, 2009, Antioch Bible Church members and guests packed the house at Overlake Christian Church to celebrate 25 years of ministry. Many photos and videos were posted on facebook in the week following the event, and many were "not ready for the celebration to end."

What a tribute to our Senior Pastor, Ken Hutcherson, and his associate, Mark Webster, for staying together for 25 years, "balancing each other out," and remaining faithful to the work God began with them in 1984!
