Antioch Adoptions began in 1998 with a twelve-year dream of Dr. Ken Hutcherson, pastor of Antioch Bible Church in Kirkland, Washington. He desired to see all children from the foster care system adopted into loving homes. He also desired for more families to be able to afford infant adoptions.
We currently place 30-40 children, on average, in forever families each year and we deeply desire to do more. We are charging the faith based community to step forward and answer the call of the orphan, and make a difference in the lives of so many children! Many churches have ministries that serve the hungry, care for the abused or neglected, and encourage the discouraged. We believe that the ministry of orphan care is just as important and should not be considered an option, but a necessity. Our team will continue to work shoulder to shoulder to fulfill God's word in John 14:18, "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you."
