Welcome to our eighth annual conference on worldviews, apologetics and leadership. It is our desire that this be a weekend set aside for the equipping of the Christian mind. The content will be biblically and culturally relevant, thought provoking and transferable. Our speakers are nationally and internationally recognized within their areas of expertise. We are confident that you will be challenged to think more clearly as a result of their teaching. We have made every effort to keep this conference affordable by providing reduced prices to students and families.

CONFERENCE SPEAKERS:
Kerby An
derson is National Director of Probe Ministries International. He received his B.S. from Oregon State University, M.F.S. from Yale University, and M.A. from Georgetown University. He is the author of several books, including: Genetic Engineering, Origin Science, Living Ethically in the 90s, Signs of Warning, Signs of Hope, and Moral Dilemmas. He is a nationally syndicated columnist whose editorials have appeared in the Dallas Morning News, the Miami Herald, the San Jose Mercury, and the Houston Post. He is the host of the “Probe” radio program, and frequently serves as guest host on “Point of View” (USA Radio Network) and “Open Line” (Moody Broadcasting Network).
Dr. Doug Geivett is a professor of Philosophy at Talbot School of Theology, BIOLA University in La Mirada, California. He has earned a B.S. in Religious Education from Multnomah College, a M.A. in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary, a M.A. in Philosophy from Gonzaga University, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from USC. He has authored three books: Evil and the Evidence for God, Contemporary Perspectives on Religious Epistemology, and In Defense of Miracles. He has also contributed articles to various scholarly journals. Dr. Geivett served as the college pastor of a church in Washington and the Church of the Open Door in Southern California. He is currently a consultant for a series of films on youth culture to be produced by Focus on the Family, and is a member of the Advisory Council for the Focus on the Family Institute. His research interests lie in philosophy of religion, philosophical theology, and epistemology.
Dr. Fred Dickason is a Pastoral Counselor, Lecturer in Pastoral Counseling as well as a speaker at Seminars on various biblical themes. He received his B.S. from Iowa State College, Pastoral Studies from Moody Bible Institute, and his Th. M. and Th. D. from Dallas Theological Seminary. He served as an Assistant Pastor at Grace Bible Church in Dallas, Texas and as Professor, Chairman of Theology Department for Moody Bible Institute. He also was part time Adjunct Professor for Moody Bible Institute. He has authored many books and numerous articles including: Angels, Elect and Evil, Demon Possession and the Christian, Names of Angels, From Bondage to Freedom Spirit of Grace and Angels.
Dr. Larry Vardiman is a creation scientist and educator with a Ph. D in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State University. He served as the chairman of the Department of Astro-Geophysics at the Institute for Creation Research’s Graduate School since 1989 and has authored many technical papers and books including overseeing the editing of the book, Radioisotopes and the Age of the Earth. Dr. Vardiman’s ability to converse in technical terms about creation science and also being able to communicate with the lay person has allowed God to use him in many ways — from the classroom to the great outdoors as a tour guide, to the radio waves on ICR’s program, Science, Scripture and Salvation. Much of Dr. Vardiman’s scientific contributions have been in the areas of cloud seeding, ice crystal growth and evolution, the age of the earth’s atmosphere, ice sheet formation during the Ice Age, and catastrophic hurricane formation. He also authored Over the Edge a book that discusses creation science from a layperson’s standpoint and chronicles his more humorous experiences as a tour guide on ICR’s Grand Canyon tours.
Dr. Norm Geisler is the author or co-author of some 70 books and hundreds of articles. He has taught theology, philosophy, and apologetics on the college or graduate level for 50 years. He has spoken or debated in some 26 countries on six continents. He has a B.A, M.A., Th.B., and Ph.D (in philosophy). He has taught at some of the top Seminaries in the United States, including Trinity Evangelical and Dallas Seminary and currently he is Distinguished Professor of Apologetics at Veritas Evangelical Seminary in Murrieta, CA. He maintains an active writing, speaking, and lecturing ministry across the country.
