Antioch's Children's Ministry exists to assist parents in training and evangelizing their children to Christ and in establishing them in a growing relationship of His grace and knowledge. This is not child care! God's Word specifically holds parents responsible for their children's formal and informal spiritual training; i.e., Deut 6:1-9, and Psalm 78.1-8. We do not want our families to be deceived into delegating this right, this joy, and this freedom we have to another-the "church." For we all are the church and responsible. Children's Ministry is a privilege provided weekly by committed volunteers.

11:00AM:
kcng-logo.webversion.jpg1. KID'S CHURCH. This is a fun, crazy, and dynamic “church service” designed especially for kids. Kids interact with Mr. Chuckles, our resident clown, and memorize Scripture with Dr. Brainsqueezer, reading their Bibles and learning truth from God’s Word. But the most important and exciting part of Kids Church is to see young girls and boys realize their need for Jesus. He is working in the hearts of our kids. Join us and see what God has in store for you this year.  KC meets in the upstairs elementary hall.

                        2. SURE FOUNDATION CHOIR: Learn music and share at outreach events each semester. This is an opportunity for your child to hone talents and develop new skills in the art of worship. Here at Antioch we feel this is our most balanced children's program, as it is the program where we have had the most young people pray to receive Jesus as Lord. Worship prepares the heart for putting confidence in God, Psalm 78 says! Located in the Dance Studio off of the main Gym.

MIDWEEK PROGRAMING:

awanaweblogo2002_color.jpgAwana 2007:  Antioch's AWANA Club is a youth ministry for ages 3 years through 6th grade. The word "AWANA" is an acronym for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed", taken from II Timothy 2:15 - "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth." The heart of the AWANA program is Bible memorization.  Club consists of council and handbook time, as well as organized games. Children earn awards and recognition for completed sections in their handbooks, and for cooperation within their assigned teams.  AWANA meets at the Kirkland Seventh Day Adventist School in Kirkland on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30pm.  Awana Registration
