Antioch's Children's Ministry exists to assist parents in training and evangelizing their children to Christ and in establishing them in a growing relationship of His grace and knowledge. This is not child care! God's Word specifically holds parents responsible for their children's formal and informal spiritual training; i.e., Deut 6:1-9, and Psalm 78.1-8. We do not want our families to be deceived into delegating this right, this joy, and this freedom we have to another-the "church." For we all are the church and responsible. Children's Ministry is a privilege provided weekly by committed volunteers.
WEEKLY SUNDAY AM CLASSES: Preschool: ABC preschool is for children who turn 3 by September 1st through Kindergarten. 9:00 AM: Weekly Sunday school classes: Dynamos, Astors, Turbos, Pre-K 4’s/5’s, and Kindergarten 11:00 AM: Weekly Sunday school classes: Dynamos, Astros, Turbos, Pre-K 4’s/5’s, and Kindergarten Elementary: ABC elementary includes children in 1stgrade thru 6th grade. All Student visitors and yearly matriculating student’s registration is in the classroom.
11:00AM: 1. SURE FOUNDATION CHOIR: Learn music and share at outreach events each semester. This is an opportunity for your child to hone talents and develop new skills in the art of worship. Here at Antioch we feel this is our most balanced children's program, as it is the program where we have had the most young people pray to receive Jesus as Lord. Awana: Antioch's AWANA Club is a youth ministry for ages 3 years through 6th grade. The word "AWANA" is an acronym for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed", taken from II Timothy 2:15 - "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth." The heart of the AWANA program is Bible memorization. Club consists of council and handbook time, as well as organized games. Children earn awards and recognition for completed sections in their handbooks, and for cooperation within their assigned teams. AWANA meets at the
