   Dear Antioch Nursery Parents & Team,  

Please know that we offer a 'Well Baby Nursery'.  We cannot accept a child or nursery helper
who has the following symptoms:
  • fever (within the past 24 hours)
  • cough
  • runny nose that is not clear
  • diarrhea
  • any other symptom that might indicate an illness/contagiousness

A medical condition that may cause any of these symptoms may be discussed with me for
 approval of entry into Nursery.

If you are sick and/or have any of these symptoms, please stay home.

We will take extra precautions to minimize the spread of germs and viruses in Nursery classrooms.  
Customarily we have used an organic non-toxic general purpose cleaner to clean Nursery toys from
week to week, disinfecting occasionally and after toys had been in mouths.  (We wanted to keep
children safe from toxins, as many nursery-aged children tend to put toys in their mouths.)  

As of May 3rd, we will use disinfectant.  Toys will be rinsed after disinfecting and allowed to air dry.


Welcome to the Antioch Bible Church Nursery Ministry!

"Let the little children come unto Me..." Jesus did not specify how big the "little
children" needed to be.  We should not specify it either.  Let's bring the littlest of
children -- our infants and toddlers -- to Him.

Don't wait until they are in elementary school, or high school, or reasoning
adults (who have the hardest time of all coming to have a relationship with
Jesus).  Start from the beginning - with your infant.  

This ministry does effectively free adults to serve in the Body and to attend
services without distraction.  However, our approach to the ministry is very much
child-centered.  It is not a daycare or babysitting service.  As little as they are, we
strive teach them the Word of God through song, visuals, nurturing of our
nursery team with an intentional and organized approach.  We desire - as you
do - to see the concept of God and salvation woven seamlessly into their
understanding from the very start.

Children understand more than we think they do!

The most natural form of reproducing the body of Christ is through our children.  
There are many budding leaders of the church that were nurtured up starting
with a Children's program.  

Enroll your little caterpillar and as we partner with you the loving parent, watch
them blossom into beautiful butterflies giving glory to God with their lives.
