Serving IN the classroom? Nursery Ministers - (48 Helpers Needed) Arriving 30 minutes prior to the service, you hang out with the children. Read books, build block towers, help put puzzles together or just hold and rock a child.  * The 1st service team will help set up the room to make it fun and child-friendly. 2nd service team will help pack up the Nursery toys and put the room back together. (It’s easy. We tell you where everything goes.) Curriculum Minister (10 Helpers Needed) Lead/delegate team through the classroom schedule – snack time, story time, praise time, play time, etc. You would receive curriculum and training. Serving OUT of the classroom? Captains & Coordinators – (8 Helpers Needed) You assist parents in checking in their children into the room. You are in charge of distribution of pagers and room supplies. Basic administrative skills needed. Big smile needed. Tear Down – (6 Helpers Needed) You would come before 1st service or after 2nd service to pull the tall, black storage cases from & to the gym down to the Nursery area. (We need strong guys for this job.) Care Patrol – (4 Helpers Needed) You would help protect and enforce the policies of the Nursery Ministry. Help maintain safety of the children and all nursery ministers in classrooms and Nursery area. Runners- (9 Helpers Needed) You would walk children down stairs to lower level classrooms. (This job is great if you are only able to be at church for 1 service.) Cup Washing – (1 Helper Needed) You would take cups and/or toys each week to wash them in the dishwasher. You must be able to pick up cups at 12:30 p.m. and return by 8:45 a.m. the following Sunday. Non-smoking and pet-free home required. Infant Landry – (1 Helper Needed) Wash receiving blankets, smocks, crib sheets, and cloths from the infant room each week. (Approximately 2 loads) You must be able to pick up laundry at 12:30 p.m. and return by 8:45 a.m. the following Sunday. Non-smoking and pet free home required. |
