Mark and Linda Webster were married on May 3, 1980 and began their home in the "bachelor pad" that Mark had been building. During the next six years, Mark finished the "pad" and remodeled it twice to make room for the four daughters God brought into their marriage. They have had an assortment of animals on their quarter acre of land, ranging from one pig to 20 chickens and a myriad of dogs. The animals have now, however, been moved indoors (not the pig and chickens), and is down to several fish and one dog.
In his spare time Mark is a beekeeper, raises a garden, and fixes or adds to the house yearly. He also likes to fish in Alaska for salmon and halibut. At Thanksgiving he cooks several turkeys in the ground come snow, rain or sunshine. This now has changed to in the ground, in the summer, only on sunny days, but still a great meal.
Linda takes care of the produce Mark grows, and keeps the household running smoothly.
The girls have enriched their parents lives and keep their hearts young. Ruth is a senior and looking forward to college hopefully ASU if all the funding works out… Elizabeth is a junior and enjoys several close friendships.
Araenae plays the piano and bassoon. Joni enjoys life to the fullest and is very active physically. She is a rising soccer star. All four of the girls enjoy their youth programs at church. |
