Why I Fight To Uphold Traditional Marriage in Washington

Why do I stand so strong in support of traditional marriage? Because I am a pastor of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a shepherd that is supposed to lead, feed and protect the flock. Anything the bible says is good for society, I stand on it and I will not compromise on it. What the bible says is good for society has always proven to be good. Anything the bible says is wrong for society has always proven to be wrong.  There have never been any winners in a scenario where society went against what God said would be good.

The Israelites were told not to have any idols before God (Leviticus 26:1.) They did and were thrown into captivity under Nebuchadnezzar. Under Cyrus, the great leader of Persian Empire they were under captivity for 70 years because they disobeyed God.  Read on...

Q: What is the empirical support for the claim that there is clear evidence that homosexuality is genetic?

A: There is no evidence that homosexuality is genetic.

Q: How do you answer the fairness question? Is it unfair to keep homosexuals from legal marriage?

A: Is it unfair not to let three people marry?  Is it unfair that the men of NAMBLA (North American Man-Boy Love Association) not be allowed to marry little boys?  It is not an issue of fairness but of righteousness and the Bible calls homosexuality sin.

Q: How will this law effect who a church can hire?

A: The only provision in this law protests pastors from being required to marry a same sex couple.  However there is no provision to protect a pastor if gay people come to their church and want to get hired.  If the pastor says no, that can be considered discriminatory.

Q: How long do we have to collect the signatures?

A: For the referendum, 124,000 signatures must be gathered by June 6. For the initiative, 241,000 signatures must be gathered by July 6.

The Schnaidt's - Moscow, Russia Steve and Kathy both grew up in church-going families but truly dedicated their lives to Christ in college. God changed their lives personally and gave them a desire to use their gifts and talents to help others know Him too. After college they became missionaries to college students on U.S. campuses. When the opportunity came for long-term service, both Steve and Kathy answered God's call. It was there that they met and served three years in the Philippines. From there they served in South Korea and back to the United States to continue work on the JESUS Film Project. God then called them to teach and administrate a two-year Bible College in Moscow, Russia. They worked with the Bible College for eleven years to prepare Russian believers to become pastors, church planters, missionaries, elders and lay leaders in new and existing churches. After training local Russian Christian leaders to fulfill their roles and responsibilities at the Bible College, God provided an opportunity to minister among Russians and expatriates within the business, professional, military and diplomatic community. Their goal is to lead Russians and people of all nationalities to a saving knowledge of Christ and to train them to become multiplying disciples of Christ locally and around the world.
