I began my studies at Oak Hills Christian College in Northern Minnesota where I grew up. After graduation I spent a term with Wheaton College Extension as part of an excavation at Tell Dothan in Israel. On returning to the States I was married to Sharon, and we moved to Seattle where I enrolled at Seattle Pacific University and became a secondary English teacher and taught five years in Minnesota and Edmonds, while completing a Masters in Religion. Our family was accepted with Greater Europe Mission in 1970 and we spent fourteen years at the Scandinavian Bible Institute in Sweden as teacher and in other ministries. We returned to Seattle in 1987 and I became Director of Cascade Bible College. In 2002 the College merged with imago Dei institute in Redmond and I remain as Administrative Dean.
