Mother's Day Leis

This ministry was born out of the Islands (Hawaii) where several members of our body (not to mention our Mission Pastor and his wife) are from.  The goal is to raise funds for a need   while creating a cultural awareness.  This process has brought much joy and unity to those who help as well as those who are blessed with a lei.  Our flowers are flown in fresh from the Islands and hand sewn by women and children within our body.  The proceeds from the sale of these leis go toward a local ministry whose ministry focus is women and children.  It has been an incredible way to watch "culture meeting needs"!  If you are interested in more information email: Holly Hughes

New Creation Prison Ministry
2 Cor. 5:17,20
This ministry began in 1995 to the Youth Facilities in Washington State.   We expanded in 1998 to include the County Jails of King and Snohomish County and again to Issaquah City Jail in 2002.  Chapel Services, Bible Studies and One on One Counseling are held on a weekly basis.  Over 2500 inmates have prayed to accept Jesus Christ through this Ministry.

If you are interested in becoming a counselor  or just reaching out to an inmate or youth that is in need of Godly wisdom and counsel, please contact Freddie Cantrell.  We would love to broaden our borders to include a safe house for the inmates after they are released and would truly covet your prayer support in this area.

Union Gospel Mission

Seattle's Union Gospel Mission was founded in 1932, in the midst of the Depression. Today, just as we did that first day in 1932, we provide hope to the hungry, homeless and hurting by meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. When these men, women and children come to the Mission, we can offer food, shelter, rehabilitation, youth programs and training programs as well as outreach to seniors, families and prisoners. Seattle's Union Gospel Mission is committed to serving the hungry, hurting, and homeless in our area - 24 hours a day 365 days a year.  You can get more information at their website www.ugm.org or  Holly Hughes , call 425-284-2647.
