GREECE - OPERATION JOSHUA - EVANGELISM

In the summer of 2008, over 100 young people joined
Operation Joshua 1 and distributed 40,000 Bibles door to door throughout the region of Ilia, covering 178 villages in 5 days! This summer we continued pressing on towards the goal set before us with another 40,000 bibles. We carried out this massive undertaking in partnership with existing Evangelical Churches in the provinces of Messinia and Arcadia in Southern Greece.

This team works alongside Hellenic Ministries to break down and clean up their summer sports camps. This involves mild to heavy labor, packing up the tenting of the worship center and cafe, as well as all of the water sport equipment, archery, volleyball, and climbing wall. Cost Estimate: $2500

MENDENHALL - SERVICE

Joining Mendenhall Bible Church and The Mendenhall Ministries, this team will be participating in rural black ministry through service projects, construction, visiting homes and sharing personal testimonies. This is our oldest short-term mission project, dating back to 1986. Cost: Estimate: $1000.00

NEW YORK "THE NEXT LEVEL"

God did amazing things in and through our team of 8 students and 4 leaders this year! We served the homeless in a soup kitchen in Harlem, ran vacation bible school for children in Harlem and Washington Heights, prayed for people and shared the gospel in the parks and on the streets, as well as painted 3 classrooms at an inner-city high school. God stretched and challenged each of the team members in a variety of ways during the week, it was an awesome blessing!

Milt Whitaker led a team to come alongside IMPACTO Bible Church in Managua, Nicaragua to reach out the the community of Los Marquesas with outreach, evangelism and Vacation Bible School. Jose and staff members of Rijo Athletics Baseball once again joined the team for the third year, to do a two-fold outreach which has had a great impact on the baseball players of the colleges. As always, God did amazing things!
