Deborah’s Song - with Pat Hutcherson, Linda Webster and Mary Kay Fors

…I will sing to the Lord, I will sing;  I will make music to the Lord, the God of Israel.” Judges 5:3

Deborah’s Song is a safe place for women to meet corporately, find acceptance, encouragement, love, prayer and accountability.  It’s a place to make new friends, have fun, laugh and cry.  It’s a place where you will be edified and built up for the spiritual battle in which we are engaged.  In short, it’s a place for you!

Yes, it is early on Saturday morning, but what a privilege it is to come hear practical truth from a woman’s perspective. Plus, someone else prepares your breakfast – how great is that?!

The Women’s Ministries desire that women at Antioch embody what Deborah embodied:  A heart that welcomed God’s truth, ears that listened for God’s voice, a mouth that spoke God’s words, feet that moved out in obedience, an attitude that did not whine—take over or give up, courage, engagement in battle against a powerful enemy and God’s victory.

God was certainly big enough for Deborah and her situation.  God is certainly big enough for my situation and me. Deborah’s Song of praise to God for His defeat of the enemy is recorded in Judges 5.  Oh, that each of us would have such a Song!

Heart to Heart

Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep  Romans 12:15.
This favorite June event is a time when our very own Antioch women share their “One Life” stories in person.  These women always make themselves very vulnerable as they open their hearts to us, so that we can see clearly that God is very active, up to date and present in women’s lives today.  It’s a time to laugh together at God’s sense of humor or be touched by His hand of compassion in unexpected circumstances.  It confirms to us again that God is always faithful in a “life” that walks with Him day by day.  You won’t want to miss this summer evening of fellowship together.

Meals Ministry

Offer hospitality to one another.  Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others.  I Peter 4:9-10.
The meals ministry at Antioch Bible Church is designed to help out our church families in need (crisis, birth of a child, etc.).  Many of the different ministries at Antioch are set up to handle their own group's needs. However, the meals ministry exists to make sure everyone at Antioch is covered in time of need.  The average request for meals is about once a month and we try our best to keep it local to your area.  To join the team, sign up at the Women’s Table or  contact Joan Hunt at 425-284-2609.
