“Oh, bless our God, you peoples! And make the voice of His praise be heard…” - Psalm 66:8 (NKJV)
Make The Voice captures two major thoughts:
1. The focus to worship and praise Him alone
2. The unification of the body - being made whole
Make is a call to action by His people. Voice is in the singular form, despite the thousands of voices being heard. As many voices are lifted up, the unifying picture of ONE voice displays a powerful picture of the church, her voice, and her desire to lift ONE name above all others.
As the church and body of Jesus Christ, we are unified because we all are in need of redemption due to our sin and rebellion. Yet, we have a Redeemer that has saved us through His death and resurrection.
May we Praise the name of Jesus and honor Him alone.
Our hope and petition for this event, as one people under Christ, is to be a reflection of His love, hope, peace, reconciliation and unity. The goal will be to engage with ALL people of Seattle, sharing the Good news of Christ and listening to the stories of those we interact with.
We are calling all Christians from all denominations, cultures, ages and backgrounds to gather in downtown Seattle.
When have you last praised the Lord for who He is? When have you rejoiced in Him with no motives? Is He not deserving of our adoration and joyous, unabashed love?
Let us be a beautiful representation of the body of Christ. May we be a sweet sound to heaven's ear. Let the multitude come together to Glorify and Praise the name of Jesus Christ as the King of Kings and Lord of lords.
Let us Make The Voice.
