POSITION SUMMARY
Antioch Bible Church is seeking a joyful, Christ-centered, and highly motivated Communications Coordinator to lead all aspects of church communications, digital media, and storytelling. This role is pivotal in sharing what God is doing through Antioch—keeping our congregation informed, equipping people with clear next steps in their faith, and engaging the broader community through creative and strategic content. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a bold communications vision for a dynamic, growing church family.

This is a 25-hour/week, salaried position. This position is onsite, with Tuesday-Thursday office hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Digital Communication & Administration

  • Draft and send all-church emails through Subsplash, managing email groups to ensure information reaches correct audiences.
  • Maintain and update Google & Apple Maps listings, including but not limited to, service times, holiday hours, and closures.
  • Manage event communication through Subsplash such as creating event pages, registration forms, slides, and follow-up messaging.
  • Oversee the church’s online forms ensuring submissions route correctly.
  • Update website and mobile app content regularly (user friendly but must be comfortable and proficient with computers).
  • Maintain and manage sermon libraries (website, YouTube, Podcast, etc.).

2. Creative & Media Production

  • Create graphics for events, sermon series, and announcements using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Develop weekly PowerPoint/ProPresenter slides for services and special events.
  • Oversee print materials (bulletins, posters, signage, postcards), working with Minuteman Press and internal staff.
  • Maintain organization of digital assets (photo/video archives, templates, brand files).
  • Create video testimonies which would involve recording and editing videos.

3. External & Internal Communications

  • Support weekly bulletin and Antioch News creation and printing.
  • Help prepare worship order slides and Sunday visuals.
  • Distribute Life Group questions to leaders weekly.
  • Assist pastors with special communications projects, seasonal campaigns (e.g., Easter, Christmas), and ministry launches.

qUALIFICATIONS

  • Full agreement with the Antioch Bible Church Doctrinal Statement (required).
  • A joyful spirit, strong work ethic, and commitment to collaborative ministry.
  • 3+ years experience (preferred) in communications, marketing, or creative media (church or nonprofit preferred).
  • Proficiency in:
    • Email & ChMS platforms (Outlook/Subsplash)
    • Graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
    • Website/app management (Subsplash)
    • Social media proficiency (YouTube)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with video editing tools (Final Cut, DaVinci, or similar) is a plus.
  • Experience training or coordinating volunteers a plus.
